Tenacious DVD

How in the name of all things Rock did I miss the free screening of the “Tenacious D-VD” last night at the Metreon. Damn!

According to this Reuters story, the D are promoting the release of their “Complete Masterworks” DVD by going on a fictitious 45-day hunger strike which will end early “if ‘The Complete Masterworks’ goes platinum, if ‘hunger is solved’, or if there is peace in Middle East.”

(Totally by coincidence, this is entry number 666. How perfect is that?)

Scott Yager

Pretty much…I think there are stores in Providence and Portland, ME though.

Scott: Is it rockin’? Did it melt your face off? =-)

Scott Yager

I haven’t gotten a chance to watch the whole thing yet. But I have to say I was hoping that the live performance part would involve the full band, so my face would truly melt :)

It’s awesome that they have the HBO episodes on it, though.

Scott Yager

I watched the whole concert part. It is rockin’.

Walt Dickinson

If it is truely face-meltingly rockin’ then I may need to acquire a copy for myself.

jack black was on will & grace last night. it wask ok. a little bit of a let-down. i think he needs to do something new. his next movie should be totally different.. because he’s going to be totally type-cast into the same character in everything.. like adam sandler or something.

Scott Yager

There was Shallow Hal…and he was boring in that trying to play the normal guy. Maybe he should be a villain or something.

Rachelle Bowden

he would be a really good creepy psychotic killer or stalker!
