Shut up and listen to my order!

It never ceases to amaze me how many sales people are simply incapable of listening to you when you’re trying to buy something. I suppose it probably has something to do with human nature and the fact that a lot of people will cough up their money just to end the conversation. Tabitha and I came up against this while shopping for rings and again while apartment hunting. I think we both find it pretty difficult not to grab the sales person by the head and shout, “We have money to spend in this place but if you don’t shut up and listen to us we’re just going to leave!”

I finally left Earthlink this morning after 3+ years as a moderately disgruntled customer. I switched to Sonic and so far I’ve been very pleased with their DSL service options, their customer service, and their policies regarding early termination. Plus, we’ll be getting better speeds for less money.
