Happy Halloween

  • Jeff: Batman.
  • Abed: Yeah.
  • Jeff: Are you staying for the party?
  • Abed: If I stay, there can be no party. I must be out there in the night, staying vigilant. Wherever a party needs to be saved, I’m there. Wherever there are masks, wherever there’s tomfoolery and joy, I’m there. But sometimes I’m not ’cause I’m out in the night, staying vigilant. Watching. Lurking. Running. Jumping. Hurtling. Sleeping. No, I can’t sleep. You sleep. I’m awake. I don’t sleep. I don’t blink. Am I bird? No. I’m a bat. I am Batman. Or am I? Yes, I am Batman. [Applies lip balm.] Happy Halloween.

Canabalt is the kind of game that drives me nuts but these high scores are amazing. Makes me wonder how many minutes of gameplay these distances equate to.

Blowing Up the Moon

When this Mr. Show sketch aired on HBO about a decade ago, bombing the moon was just a beautiful dream. Tomorrow, it’ll be science fact.

“We have the technology, the time is now, science can wait no longer, children are our future. America can, should, must and will blow up the moon.”

Seriously though, the resulting crater will only be about a third the size of a football field and is likely to show definitive proof of water on the moon. :)
