This is what I like to see. A free version of Maya for non-commercial use. Called a “Learning Edition.” What a phenomenal idea. A free version for people who don’t want to shell out an obscene ammount of money just to see whether the product is for them or not. Every software product should follow this model no? If the end user isn’t making any money off your product, just learning how great it is, why not?

[Also: Clinton’s dog Buddy is dead. An accident? Or did he know too much? (I wouldn’t link to MSN if I hadn’t thought of writing something like this myself, and the author did such a good job.)]
